Note: Optima Batteries 8040-218 D35 comes with a yellow plastic part that you may need to use. This plastic part protects the terminals during shipping, but can also be used as an adapter to increase the battery’s height. My vehicle required this part to be fitted onto the battery in order to mount correctly.
